BACKGROUND
Getir is a leading delivery service in Turkey. Their ultimate goal is to a bring happiness by delivering thousands of everyday items within minutes in day or night. To expand the happiness, Getir always tries to improve and deliver the best experience for the customers.As a product designer candidate, I got a challenge to redesign the app to improve experience while using Getir mobile apps. The focus and crucial part of this challenge is how to design order flow and the vehicle delivery process. I did several steps in terms of discovering current experience and get insight for the ideation phase.

PROCESS
To understand the user problem while using the apps, I did a discovery process using user interview and usability testing method. In the user interview session, I invited 3 users who used the app at least once a week. This session aimed to understand user behavior, goals, and motivation while using the delivery app. After conducting a user interview session, I invited 1 of 3 participants to join the usability testing session. This session aimed to understand how users interacts with the app and discover the problem once using the app. At the end of the session, I ask participants to explain more about several flows that caused a pain point to the user.

After analyzing the insight through user interview and usability testing, I continue to define the problem (mentioned below). To solve these issues, I did several step on ideation process. The first thing that I did is mapping the flow and figure out how to improve the service order. Then, after the flow is defined I continue to create a design library to help me create a visual pattern for later. To visualize the design idea, I creating a prototype using Figma app and visualize all the improvement. At the final step, all the component and design documented in figma.

- Card payment method for foreign card ofter had a trouble
- Getir and Getir Buyuk a bit confusing
- There is no information if the order will coming late
- There is a language barrier between courier and customer

CONCLUSION
This case is very interesting. I'm happy that I could finish it in less than a week by doing the discovery process - ideation - validation - prototyping as properas I can. My Ideation that mentioned above is based on my discovery process with time constrain, limited participant. I believed that there is a lot of space to improve, especially once we get more data. Lastly, I'm very happy that Getir Talent Acquisition approached me for this opportunity. Hopefully, we could have time for a collaboration later in the future.
