To understand the user problem while using the apps, I did a discovery process using user interview and usability testing method. In the user interview session, I invited 3 users who used the app at least once a week. This session aimed to understand user behavior, goals, and motivation while using the delivery app. After conducting a user interview session, I invited 1 of 3 participants to join the usability testing session. This session aimed to understand how users interacts with the app and discover the problem once using the app. At the end of the session, I ask participants to explain more about several flows that caused a pain point to the user.
After analyzing the insight through user interview and usability testing, I continue to define the problem (mentioned below). To solve these issues, I did several step on ideation process. The first thing that I did is mapping the flow and figure out how to improve the service order. Then, after the flow is defined I continue to create a design library to help me create a visual pattern for later. To visualize the design idea, I creating a prototype using Figma app and visualize all the improvement. At the final step, all the component and design documented in figma.
